Many of you know I have been doing Core De Force and following the Nutrition Plan as well! The nutrition plan is based on the Fix Portion Control system so you eat the right amount of different types of food. Anyways, yesterday I missed my morning snack, so I still had a purple container (FRUIT) to eat during the day; but I wasn’t quite in the mood for just a plain banana.
So, I found this AWESOME recipe which pairs up my love of Coffee with this extra banana I had laying around 🙂
So, what is banana milk coffee?
Basically, you just blend up almond (or cashew) milk with a banana and use that in place of cream. I made it in an iced coffee, but you could also add it to hot coffee. The banana and milk blended together gives it a very frothy, coffe-house kind of texture that is really delicious and smooth, and the banana isn’t overpowering at all like you might expect.
You can also go heavier on the banana / milk blend and lighter on the coffee for more of a latte type of drink.
Super simple, takes just a few minutes, and is also a great recipe if you have some bananas laying around that are about to go bad!
