This was my Day #6 dinner (Saturday NIGHT!) on the Core De Force Eating Plan, and it was really good and hit home on my major pizza craving.
If you guys know me at all, you know I LOVE my pizza! My “last meal” before starting Core De Force was a pizza, and I have gone through phases where I have eaten (no judging!) pizza for … umm. most of my meals during a week. LOL.
Anyway – you can imagine my excitement when I opened up the eating plan and there was HEALTHY Pita Pizza for me to make. I immediately added it to my Saturday Night meal plan.
Well, after waiting all week, I wasn’t disappointed! Despite the small amount of cheese on this the pizza was delicious, and the maple BBQ sauce is amazing also. It’s a little sweet which gives it a great flavor and the pitas I bought crisped up nicely in the oven.
This recipe is for 1 serving, but we made 3, for myself, my husband, and my kids split one also. Also, when we made this, we had some extra chicken on it, making it a full red container – you can feel free to experiment 🙂
