Wow guys!!! Our free crockpot group started up today and this meal was delicious! It was my first time making it. I was a little hesitant on how it would turn out with the onion and the apple cider vinegar but it was SO delicious!
Even my 3 year old and 1 year old loved it! My 3 year old did put some mustard on it (wierd … but it actually tasted pretty good haha)

Ingredients:
- (2) Medium Sweet Potatoes
- (1) Pound Boneless Chicken Breast
- Himalayan Pink Salt & Ground Black Pepper
- (1) Red Onion, Chopped
- (4) Garlic Cloves, Minced
- (2) Apples OR (1) Cup Unsweetened Applesauce
- (2) TSP Apple Cider Vinegar
- (2) TSP Cinnamon (optional, or to taste)
Directions:
Cut up sweet potato into chunks along with chicken. I like to cut up the chicken into “tender” size strips, about 3” by 1”
Season chicken and sweet potato with salt & pepper. For this recipe, you can also use some Cinnamon if you’d like!
Steam (2) apples until soft (about 10 minutes), then mash with a fork. (Or, use Applesauce)
Mix together garlic, onion, apples and vinegar in a bowl.
Place chicken and sweet potato into the crockpot, and then pour the apple mixture over the chicken and sweet potato.
Cook on LOW 6 – 8 hours. Chicken should shred easily when it is done.
