Do I Need To Be In Great Shape To Be A Health And Fitness Coach With Team Beachbody?

NO.

I hear a lot that people think they can’t be a coach because they are not in good shape or where they want to be in terms of their health and fitness!! Some people actually LAUGH about it when they think about being a coach!

I TOTALLY understand this though because that was a worry I had when I first started! BUT, one of my reasons for wanting to coach was so that I could get extra support to help ME reach MY goals! I KNEW I couldn’t do it ALONE!

This picture says it all. THIS is how I LOOKED when I FIRST STARTED coaching!! I was 30+ pounds heavier than I am now, and I knew NOTHING about health and nutrition!

Being a coach is NOT about being an EXPERT or – Our job is NOT to tell people what they should and shouldn’t eat.. the trainers in the programs tell you all that! A coache’s JOB is to HELP hold you accountable, KEEP you motivated and accountable during the tough times, and be a support system so that you can reach your goals! That’s it!!! Pretty basic and such a FUN job to have!

Being relateable makes coaching FUN and LOW PRESSURE. All I do is SHARE my own journey ..the good, the bad and the struggles…..EVERYTHING, with a goal to INSPIRE others to make the decision to do something to BETTER themselves. I wan to PROVE that anyone CAN have success and achieve their goals no matter what they look like and no matter where they started!

There is NO destination when it comes to HEALTH and FITNESS…..it’s something you need to continue to work on every single day! So don’t worry about being “at your goals” – your goals will always be shifting and changing as your grow and get better.

I am SO HAPPY I started when I did – when I was FEELING and LOOKING my absolute WORST…. because I’ve been able to HELP so many others SEE the TRUE potential within themselves AND hold me accountable to my own goals!

You don’t have to be great to start, but you have to start to be great!
